Recruiting
The purpose of engaging in tournament play is to generate exposure throughout the recruiting circuit. It is our duty as a club program to attend competitive national showcase tournaments. As teams transition to older age groups, so will their placement in competitive brackets to ensure we are maximizing their exposure throughout the recruiting cycle.
During a player’s time with us, it is our goal to improve their skills and eventually serve as the platform for their recruitment. This is done through practice development, camp/clinic exposure, and high-level tournament play. College programs who have interest in a player will engage with club representatives to gather more information on playing ability and/or individual character.
College programs are unable to have direct communication with a player regarding their recruiting process until September 1st of their junior year. This includes the offering of scholarships and official/unofficial visits.
Please note that every players’ process is different and customized to their own needs. Our staff works alongside players and parents to ensure their process is smooth, realistic, and ultimately gratifying in the end.
Our Style program also includes player access to IWLCARecruits, a recruiting management platform. This platform provides players with their own recruiting profiles and allows them to upload and edit game film, as well as compile their own highlight films. Most importantly, IWLCARecruits streamlines all emailing needs for our players through one platform, allowing them to instantly email the college of their choice. For the 2023 year, the IWLCARecruits platform will be available to players on our Style 2024, 2025, and 2026 teams.
